How to use

Choose the merge direction (vertical / horizontal). Vertical joins top to bottom, horizontal joins left to right.

If the images differ in size, adjust the alignment. Vertical merges align by width (fit to narrowest / fit to widest), horizontal merges align by height (fit to shortest / fit to tallest), and you also set the background color used for padding.

FAQ
- How is the merge order decided?
- JPGs are joined in the order you upload them: top to bottom for vertical merges, left to right for horizontal merges. To change the order, remove the files and add them again in the order you want.
- What happens if the photos have different sizes?
- Vertical merges align by width and horizontal merges align by height. With "Fit to smallest", the others scale down to the smallest image. With "Fit to largest", everything matches the largest image and smaller ones get padding around them, filled with the background color.
- When does the background color show?
- It fills the padding created when fitting differing sizes to the largest image (sides for vertical merges, top and bottom for horizontal merges). Since JPGs have no transparency, the background color isn't visible when all images are the same size.
- Are my JPGs uploaded to a server?
- No. Merging happens entirely in your browser. Images are never uploaded to a server and disappear from memory the moment you close the page.
