These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using Switching (the "Service"), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of users and the operator. By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms aim to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the operator and users, along with other necessary matters, regarding the use of the web-based image conversion service provided by Switching. Users should read and understand these Terms fully before using the Service.
Article 2 (Definition of the Service)
The Service provides various image-processing features, including conversion between JPG and PNG, image-to-PDF conversion, image extraction from PDF, TIFF conversion, HEIC-to-JPG conversion, resizing, file-size compression, and image merging. All features are provided free of charge and require no separate registration.
Article 3 (In-Browser Processing and No File Storage)
All conversions in this Service are performed client-side, entirely within the user's web browser. Files selected by the user are not uploaded or transmitted to the operator's servers or any external location, and the operator does not collect or store the user's original files or converted outputs. Accordingly, the security and management of files depend entirely on the user's own device environment.
Article 4 (User Responsibilities)
Users must use the Service only with files for which they hold valid rights or have obtained permission to use. The user bears full responsibility for converting any file that infringes upon another party's copyright, portrait rights, personal information, or other rights. Users are obligated to use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
Article 5 (Disclaimer of Warranties)
The Service is provided "as is," and the operator makes no express or implied warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability of conversion results. Because outcomes may vary depending on the browser, file format, and device performance, users must verify converted outputs themselves before relying on them for important tasks.
Article 6 (Limitation of Liability)
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages resulting from data loss, file corruption, or conversion errors.
Article 7 (Third-Party Services)
This Service uses Google Analytics to analyze usage statistics and Google AdSense to display advertisements. These third-party services may collect information through cookies and other means in accordance with their own policies, and the handling of such information is subject to each provider's terms and policies. Article 8 (Changes to the Terms)
The operator may revise these Terms when necessary, within the scope permitted by applicable law. When the Terms change, the revised content and effective date will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Service after the change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
